Through my books, I always try to give a voice to important topics, and I strongly believe that storytelling is the perfect way to do so. With this book, I wanted to talk about autism through a story that could touch readers of all ages, gently guiding them into Alberto’s everyday life.
To explore the theme of autism, I chose music because it is a universal language and is often used successfully in therapeutic settings. Music therapy can help stimulate both hemispheres of the brain and can be particularly valuable for autistic children as a form of support and as a preferred channel for connecting, communicating and processing information from the outside world. Alberto thus welcomes us into his magical world, inviting us to listen closely to the unique rhythm of his days.
